About Euclid…
Euclid is situated in the northestern corner of Cuyahoga County, and is directly adjacent to both the City of Cleveland and Lake County. Euclid’s presence on Lake Erie combined with its relatively affordable housing values and stable tenant base make it a popular choice for investors.
Euclid benefits from Rt. 2/I-90 passing through it, providing easy access to downtown Cleveland as well as other eastern suburbs.
This city’s housing stock consists primarily of detached single family houses, but there is also a large number of semi-detached single family houses, condominiums, duplexes and apartment buildings as well. The majority of the housing stock was built between the early 1920s through the 1960s, though there are a few areas with newer buildings scattered throughout the city.
Euclid’s housing values were hit quite hard in the recession a decade ago, but have been rebounding considerably over the past few years.
The new Amazon distribution center on the site of the former Euclid Square Mall is expected to provide many new jobs in the area and create even stronger demand for housing in the near vicinity.
Euclid has a wide range of neighborhoods (ranging from D+ in an area off of Euclid Avenue to A- in an area directly adjacent to the lakefront) so it is important to consider the specific neighborhood rather than just the city itself when investing in Euclid.
